I thought I'd just do a little update post about something particularly lovely.

Last week when Billy and I went to Rome he decided to take me out for a lovely evening meal in an amazing restaurant close to the Spanish Steps, on the way he bought me a small bunch of three red roses from a street seller and was the perfect gent all evening.

Having stuffed ourselves with Italian cuisine, Billy led me by the hand to the very top of the Spanish Steps and we overlooked the eternal city lit up against the evening sky, it was truly magical.

Billy had seemed on edge all night and no wonder as he got down on one knee and proposed to me!

Now, when the guy you've liked since you were 14 proposes to you at the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome, overlooking the eternal city, of course you say yes! 

We're currently planning an engagement party, so you can certainly expect a party planning post!
