Well, 2011 went by incredibly fast! It's safe to say that 2011 wasn't mine or my family's year. We've had a rough time this year and I'm really glad it's over. I love New Year's day, it's like a re-run of Christmas day in our house, minus the presents. We have another three course Christmas dinner, courtesy of my amazing mother :) and we sit and chill together all afternoon watching movies, eating Christmas chocolates and drinking until our heart's content.

We always spend New Year's Eve just in our home, all together as a family, watching t.v., eating and drinking. We then switch to the London countdown ready to bring in the New Year along with the rest of the country. Fabulous. Except this year, my two brothers were away from home and we missed the countdown as we were too engrossed in EastEnders and Pat's illness to remember to switch over in time, my phone just changed to midnight as I shouted, "Mum, the countdown!" by the time we switched over, the fireworks had started and people where singing 'Old Lang Syne' :') cuddles and kisses all round!

Well, I'm going to go and enjoy my New Year's Day with my family :) I hope that 2012 is filled with happiness and smiles every single day for anyone that reads this!

Lots of Love,
