Hey Everyone I'm going to start some make-up reviews and call them The Good, The Bad and The Downright Ugly, the first series of these is going to be on lipsticks and lipglosses.

So for the majority of my life, I have despised lipgloss. I know so many people like it and that they couldn't live without it in their life but I was just never one of them. I hated the way that my hair would stick to me lips in the wind and I couldn't stand the feeling of having an awful sticky mess around my mouth. That said, I have owned a LOT of lipglosses, When you're a young girl people want to buy you make-up for your birthday or for Christmas and the most obvious choice is a little eyeshadow or some neutral lipgloss, something small and barely noticeable. So I've owned a lot of lipglosses from extremely cheap brands to a little more expensive names such as No7. I'd sometimes try one on and think 'oh that looks so sparkly and pretty, why do I never wear this?' and then after two minutes I realised I couldn't stand it being on my lips and would wipe it off. Now I'm older and I've realised not all lipglosses are as sticky I've got a small collection that I don't mind wearing and I'll wear a little if I feel like it but it's quite rare. However, something I have always loved is lipstick.

When I was younger, I'd run into my mums room playing 'mums and babies' with my little sister and I'd rummage through her make-up searching for a bright lipstick, i'd rub it around my lips (quite messily it's fair to say) and then automatically feel amazing and grown-up haha! Still to this day, I adore lipsticks and I am slowly building up a collection of them! :)

I just prefer how they can be drier than gloss and feel more natural than the gloopiness you can get from a lot of glosses.
