Review & swatches Topshop lipsticks in Infrared and Ooh La La
15:37
The Topshop lipsticks are £8 each and come in black cardboard cases with a hand-drawn style lipstick printed on the front, they also have the names and colour on the top. The formulation is very creamy and I personally haven't found any problem with them being drying or enhancing the appearance of flaky skin, that said I don't have very dry lips so I couldn't really say how well these would work for someone who does.
The packaging of the lipsticks themselves is sturdy and chic in black and white with hand-drawn chalkboard style stripes.
Infrared
Infrared is a bright orange, tomato soup pretty much sums up the colour of this lipstick, I thought it'd be pretty hard to wear and at first it is a little shocking and well 'out there' but after getting used to it for a couple of hours, I found it to look quite flattering against my skin tone and made me look a little more tanned.
Ooh La La
Ooh La La is a salmon pink colour and is quite nice, however I just don't know quite how I feel about this lipstick, it's really pale and although it's really nice, I think it maybe too light for my lip tone. My skin isn't the palest, however my lips are naturally quite darker pink than most people's and I think this may be the reason why this lipstick's a little love hate for me. I love the colour but I think the colour hate's my lips, maybe it's just me and I'm being silly but I just think I suit darker shades.
Has anyone tried any of the other shades?
Lots of Love
